Me too I am blown away by #YanZiXian's acting. That man can act. Oh boy! He has micro-expressions that many big actors lack and you've captured them all so well in this MV. His pain, his frustration, and tears, all talk about his hopeless situation. Even if he doesn't talk, his eyes speak a lot. It tells us that it's too late but he can't stop. Honestly, I don't think that anyone could have played Yue Jin Chen's multilayered character so well. I also loved the fact they didn't whitewash his character and kept him the same till the end. The heroine also acted very well. But serve me a good anti-hero and I am instantly sold. P.S.: I also made an MV on him. ☺

Ooooh, I hope the Republican themed one has a happy ending.

Yes he was the PERFECT anti hero. I'm sure good script will come his way more, his role here did very well and had a small explosion so I hope someone will give him a chance with a bigger production.

@liedshax7619 Yes. Yan ZiXian did a fabulous job as t portraying an obsessive anti-hero. He kept to his character to the very end, and yes, although he had done some very dark things, I can't stop but also pity him too. I have a love and hate relationship with him, haha 😅

Omg you said everything in my mind. Like they literally show how he's so crazy for her and he never lost that crazy even til the end. The sexual tense was HOT haha. Like, when he kissed her, I was like ok..girl I'll take your place 😅. I love the ML, Yan Zi Xian. He's so HOt and you know they will have a new drama out too. He will play a twins in there 😂 double the hotness. You should also watch his other one too called " The Revenge of Begonia ". It's good and he's very sexy in there.

@@silverpaj5 Es que el nadie lo quería y él tenía sed de venganza , ella fue la única que estuvo a su lado y abrió su corazon frío , pero al final lo abandonó, y él despues de darse cuenta que se enamoro no podía permitir otro abandono debido a sus demonios internos, me dolió que hasta el final ella nunca entendió porque hizo las cosas , el poder por el trono era típico en ese tiempo , yo hubiera deseado que ella lo abrazara el solo quería su amor pero ella fue terca y entonces él perdió la cordura 😞

@@DANIELAPOZO-lz1rz agreed with what you said. He was unloved by the king and only his mother was there for him. Then his mother was killed and he went for revenge. The only happiness was her and when she said she will leave him, he got scared and in the process he made mistakes and hurted her. Yet, I wish she could understand his POV at least but it wasn't until the very end when she felt some kind of pity for him. Such a tragic love story.

@@amra1259 You can say he loved her more than she loved him. He was too in love to the point of obsessed with her and that was his downfall. I think she did had a bit of feeling for him but her hatred and revenge for him overcome anything.

Yes it's def not for the weak of heart haha. But it's a really good drama overall and the leads are amazing as well.
